the tangent to curve y=e^x drawn at point (c,e^c) intersects line joining the points

(c-1,e^c-1) and (c+1,e^c+1) at the point?????????????????

which is shortest posible method to solve this type of question????plz share ur ideas.....(&&&&

ok my fisrt try would be ........

to take a point x1, y1 that divides the points given in ratio Î»:1

then we get coordinates of point of intersection in terms of lambda

satisfy the eq of tangent to get Î»

and we re done

it looks little dirty first time but believe me it is not really that devilish
