5<=a2+b2+c2+d2<=10 (How?!)
So
4<=-t2-4t<=9
t=-1 gives -t2-4t = 3
t=1 gives -t2-4t = -3
t=-2 gives -t2-4t = 4
t=3 gives -t2-4t = -21
only one of these fall in the range! :)
