by remainder theorem,if x-a is a factor of the given polynomial,then,
→x-a=0
→x=a
therefore,substituting value of 'a' in place of 'x'
f(a)→(a)3-a(a)2+(a)+2=0
→a3-a3+a+2=0
→a+2=0
→a=-2
