i feel dat its not the correct one.
Why can we hear but not see around a corner? (Means around the wall)

maybe because light has diff. wavelengths which reflect(or bend) by diff angles around a corner...whereas sound waves bend uniformly...[12][12]
the concept of diffraction i think.....
maybe due to the wavelength of sound it can easily bend on sharp corners while light cant.......
Something even more basic...
Think of what we need to see an image..
(Btw these are all questions for class IX X level :D)
Basically about image formation.. we need an image to see it..
There is anotehr very simple reason.... simpler than this one..!!
A simpler answer that i was looking at is
sound travels through the walls... light does not :D
