see that if the distance between two centers is less than |r1+r2| then the circles wont intersect
Same fi the distance is less than |r1-r2|
To do this, you can also try and use coordinate geomtery with a cirlce at center origin and another cirlce with another center and another raidus
try to find the point of intersectino and prove that the criterion for real root is the condition!
a bit clumsy but i think understanding of this is more important!
