262the points have to be either the ends of major axis or ends of minor axis .
ends of minor axis is not possible since putting the given distance = b , we get a=0 .
hence the two points are the ends of major axis.
a = (1/√2 ) x √(a2+2b2)
a2=2b2
e= 1/√2
