i'm giving jee, bhaiya
this question was in a FIITJEE test.(i'm a fiitjeeian) We've been taught this rotation concept, but I can't remember anything now.
What's wrong with my approach:
i got the angle of rotation as 22.5°. So, eq'n of ellipse in non rotated system should be given by replacing x by (xcosθ-ysinθ) and y by(xcosθ+ysinθ). But this way, the xy doesn't seem to cancel out . Please help.
