i was ranked 1306 in dis yearzz JEE...after dropping a year......
though i dont hav many options...m having an issue in making a choice between the ones which i have..
SOME OF MY PROBABLE OPTIONS..
bombay: civil,ep,aerospace
delhi: civil,prod&ind,ep
kharagpur: elec dual,mech
i wud like u to rank dese for me considering the fact dat i dont hav any particular inclination towards any branch.....
1as u don't any any particular interest over any branch so take some best iit
1i understand dat....but what i wanted to noe is dat which iit coupled wid the branch available dere would fetch me the maximum scope....in terms of
a)placement
b)higher studies
i wanted u to arrange dem on dat basis....
i wud prefer branches dat are more quant-oriented...though i hav seen the syllabus of dese branches but i cant make a call based on dat since u guys being more experienced wud obvsly noe better!!!........

1I don't mean to confuse u. see it depends on how much of a weightage u impose on each of the 2 points uve stated. if u are worried about placements more than scope for future studies, then i am afraid ull have to think Aero over again. In that sort of a case, Kgp Elec or mech would be a good option. But, if the quality of the IIT and interest in the subject matters to u, then you could settle of IITB aero. But i want to caution you about ep. Its more research oriented than u mite probably be thinking. Take it Iff and only if u have interest in physics and research in it. The choice is yours. cheers!!
