guys dekho . har paper me atleast mera Reasoning and assertion 3 glalat ho jata hai , esp if it's a conflict b/w the first and second regular options . I dunno why . It's a bit too much . Isliye to aviod it on what basis should one consider that the reason is right explanation or not . koi to batao .
It only comes by experience, sri. You can't do anything about it. Just practice, practice and practice...........Finally u'll get something right.
Only other way out is to take coaching from tukka master Abhishek [3]

i will tell what i do; i donno wether it may work for u or not
first of all have a gud look at assertion and after getting fully satisfied that its not wrong then go to the reasoning.
now in reasoning wat u do is first check its feasibility. now after confirming check wether u can corelate between the two or not.
in most of the cases the things are like a continuation sentences. now try to make a counter example i u can.
in some tricky cases the assertion and reasoning seem to be quite different still they r very much related. they r given as to mislead the reader.
so have a much better look at them. these can be solved only having a good command over concept.
i agree wid ani...
and thanx to IIT - Paper setters for not having the option : both are wrong!! [3]
it may be repetition of what others have just said..........
I try assertion reason questions by elimination principle.........
Option c and d are my first targets........try t odo everything possinle to find out whether both statements are correct or not.........if both correct then put cross on c and d..........then try to read both assertion and reason in a flow........dont give a pause between them..........If u feel that the question is expalining the concept without hiding any relevant fact than mark a.........otherwise b........
To figure out dif b/w a and b is very difficult task....but practice can surely help.........
Another way to diff b/w a and b is to feel that u r in a classroom and question paper is ur teacher............Like ur teacher teaches u some law and along with that explains it toooooo.....if teh question is also doing the same than its well and good..........otherwise not.......
This is all I can say about it.......[Vaise if u still dont get diff in exam hall option a can be a safe bet......70% it works.......GOOD LUCK...[1]
sri even i have the same problem
in all test series that ive taken there is a lot of controversy btw a and b .
so out of 10 atleast 3 will be wrong.
but in jee 08 and 07 4 wrong and 2 wrong respectively out of 24 q each .
strike rate jee = 42/48 = 7/8
strike rate coaching institutes assertion resioning = 7/10
so its evident that jee maintains an easy level in these type of q
i m sure we ll do well in jee-09 similarly
so dont worry
cele is rite...........last year physics paper 2.....all 4 assertion reason were easyyyyyyyyyyyyyy...............everyone would have scored in that part....[3]
