i am studying Xi standard. i hav to crack iit jee somehow.
i am ready to work hard. i hav enrolled myself in a coaching instute in chennai. i dont know how to plan my studies . how to manage school syllabus and jee syllabus together........
many of frendz say that they hav completed many concepts. but i am not thorough in any concept till now(nov.)
i hav no satisfaction of completing concepts at all. how to conclude that a concept is thorough and fineshed ?????
but people say that i have a lot of time and can clear jee if start even now . it would b of grt use if someone tell me how to do that ie.
how many hours for a day should i study so that i have my concepts done completely and can get into iit surely........
plz help!

The school syllabus is not very difficult. You need to give high attention to the IIT JEE part. (My personal opinion) School will not take you anywhere. What is the use of getting 90% in CBSE and not clearing IIT JEE! I know guys with 65% who have cleared IIT JEE.
Dont worry about ur friends. It is never to late to start. Start Working now.
There is no way to conclude that you have finished a concept. There are 1000's of problems. It is about confidence. You need to feel that you are there. That is all.
No of hours should be 3-6. I am not the kind of person who likes others to over-stress themselves. You should study and have some fun as well. But the focus should not be lost. The fun should not interfere with the time that u are studying....
Read chapter by chapter.. As cricketers say playing session by session. Not try to make a century at the first ball.. It is a gradual process and within a few months you should be there or ever above ur friends :)

33Oh i'm saying about ur that point about ur frnds...
as i had also faced the same.... they are not going anywhere with their doped performance. When i first joined the coaching many who were studying there frm 9 or 10 were knowing some xtra bit (in 2 yrs they got that) and in first two tests after start of batch of 11 they scored more than 100 marks (in 400 or so papers)than me. all it was that they were taught that 11 basics frm 2 yrs but now they are not giving me lead by 100 or so or better say they are just with me.......
And u will also meet many who do very well but for that they read for more than what u will think. I don't think that is fair for their own life.
one should also enjoy. yeh IIT is not the end of world and its an entrance exam only there are many more challenges in life.
I'm not saying that IIT is a waste, it is much more imp than any work for a +2 student but not at the cost of one's life.
Oh man i wrote so much..... lagta hai jasbati ho gaye the....
1dude cbse is pretty easy with plenty of gaps b/w xams why prepare for it
guv ur all for jee prepartion and u will surely get gud marks in cbse
to see tht ur concepts are clear in particular topic try to solve previous years q's and if u are able to solve most of them gud

i have suffered a lot becoz of this tension.....
do meditation.... it helps, believe me (1st hand experience).........
meditation gives u a strength from inside to conquer urself n ur thots n in this way u can combat tension.........
conquering tension will increase ur confidence naturally n u will feel good with urself...
dun keep ur doubts uncleared....
clarification of doubts will make ur concepts stronger....
dun hesitate to ask foolish questions... ;)
