can i am able to get civil/chemcal branch in kanpur as it is given in jee-08 conselling booklet of opening- closing rank
wat abt chemical & civil engineering from knp is near 1000-2000 rank give its detail & wat abt metallurgical branch
if u r really good in aerodynamics you might end up working for a f1 team/boeing/virgin galactic/EADS etc,but thats the best case scenario , you will have to do a lot more than just a btech degree
if one is intending on doing it . then , one can do it in IIST I feel . cos lot of fundnig is going on .

@ rahul . doing aerospace might not be a good option. or any specialization course for that matter if you're not very sure of what you want . if you're sure then go ahead .
according to our sir. the options left for you once you complete the course are very limited , so he said do a genral course in your graduation and then in your post graduation do a specialization . so that you've got more options on hand than a very narrow region . It's not my opinion my sir's .
u can chk out the jee 09 website for opening and closing ranks
in that only codes are given
the alphabet corresponds to iit and no. corresponds to course no. as given in jee brochure ( u need to serially no. them from start to end )
eg B10 means CS at BOMBAY
M11 means EE at Madras etc

kgp is kharagpur mujhe bhi pata hain...mein pooch raha tha ki uska code kya hain last year opening aur closing rank mein..in the jee website!!
in jee website last year opening n closing ranks are given in codes .. do u know which denotes KGP??I mean I think K means Kanpur..rite?? so KGP??
iit kanpur has a wind tunnel????? many formula one teams couldn't afford a wind tunnel in the past,now only force india does not have a wind tunnel
i heard from manish bhaiyya that dual degrees arent a very good option
CS i think u can get dual course
aerospace is the best option
