This is a very tough one..
It depends on your performance at each of the campuses..
IITs are relatively more safe..
BITS CS is really good as a department.
But it all boils down to your performace at college..
overall, I wud say BITS CS has a slight edge

sir according to last years bits cut off i have computer science safely in my hands in bits,,,,so thats wat made me ask this ques ....
but i m pretty much confused ....
shud i consider new iit s as an option .....i may get a field lyk mech or chemical in new iits
and dual degrees in older iits or sum low stream lyk polymer , mining or paper and pulp
in old iities
sir wat do u say??

i met an old iit prof
he said now in IITs CS is no more a hot course.
it is in parallel with EE it seems
also see the latest news in campus placements , CS is falling.
u can learn CS in NIIT itself as side course
IIT is better option clearly
and if u have a good gpa u can change ur branch too
