Correct Answer: (d)
Shudn't the ans be c
the answer lies in surface tension....on addind soap to water ite surface tension decreases and so it is now able to creep up between the layer of dirt and layer of cloth as adhesive force now wins over cohesive force which now dereases....thus the dirt layer and the cloth surface are separated by a soap solution layer...thus the cloth now gets easily cleaned..:)
