Let S={1,2,3,4,5,6}. Two numbers are chosen without replacement. The probability that the minimum of the two numbers is less than 4 is
the minimum of the 2 numbers in the event space cud be 1,2,3
for each we have 5,4,and 3 ways of choosing the second number so event space has n(E)=3+4+5=12
sample space, n(S)=6C2 ways
so the answer shud be 12/15=4/5
