Akash Anand If you are considering the velocity of electrons then you can't apply continuity equation as such, but yeah total number of electrons passing through any cross section area will be same.

Anurag Ghosh But in this case we are taking only 1 electron in reference....so we can't apply eq. of continuity......Some hint???
