In a Electric filed, if you want to draw equipotential surfaces then they must be perpendicular to the field.
If we move towards the direction of electriv field, potential decreases and vice versa.

Hamza-Ul-Huda yes sir,then according to that it should be 3 but the answer is giving (a)2..... is the answer given(opt(a)) is wrong...??
