a point charge charge q is rotated along a circle in the electric field generated by another point charge Q. the work done by the electric field on the rotating charge in one complete revolution is
(a) zero
(b) positive
(c) negative
(d) zero if the charge Q is at the centre and non zero otherwise

yeah...lapse in reding question.....one complete circle....so dV=0 => Work Done=0!!!

elecrostatic potential is equal to zero only when work is done in an equipotential surface , but if the charge Q is not at the centre of circle then how it wud be an equipotential surface

elecrostatic potential is the work done now if the displacement of the charge is zero then then how came the patential nd the work done

a as simple as that the electric force is along the centre wherever be q so the work done is 0
