simple BR2w/2
y2= 2x,
put x=2, get y=2
therefore r=2
a conducting wire is bent in d form of a loop as shown.
the segments AOB is parabolic given by the eqn y^2 =2x while
segment BA is a straight line parallel to the y-axis.
the magnetic field in the region is B= - 8 k^
and the current in the wire is 2A.
now answer the follwoing qs.
1) the torque on the loop is:
a) 16√2 Nm b) 16Nm c)18√2Nm d)zero.
2) the field created by the current in the loop at point C will be:
a) -μ0/4Πk^ b) -μ0/2Πk^
c) -μ0√2 /Πk^ d) none of these.
3.) if the loop were rotated abt the z-axis with an angular velocity of
1 rad/sec then magnitude of emf induced across the straight segment AC will be:
a) 32V b) 8V c) 16V d) 4V
Hey Q2 Integration se ho jaega naa..... Only the curved part induces field at C
for 2 nd i just saw the options .... all have B in the -ve z axis.... but field will be in the +ve axis which is in no option
Sent at 9:21 PM on Friday
me: 2 ka d
kyunki baki ka direction me -ve hai
sky: haan
??
me: but B should be along +ve z
haan curved part ke karan dlxr
upar aega naa
sky: haanj
phir batao
me: to kya
B upar hai aur option me niche diya hua hai
sky: nahi kaise hua
ni samjhi
!!
:O
me: B ka direction kidhar hai curved ke akran
sky: saare options niche hai
huh
me: haan
bole na koi shortcur hoga
sky: haan ...
waise 0 nahi hai phir :P
nikal nahi sakte ...
i mean asaani se
me: nahi 0 nahi hoga
:P
for 3 rd Q wants emf due to only straight part.....visualise this is akin to a straight conducting rod rotating with angular vel. w....
got it now sky??!!
@abhishek yeh riwaaz tum ne kaha se sikha
bahut mehnet karni padti hogi[1]
