use Maximum power transfer theorem.
Max power is delivered when internal R = external R.
this should help I think.
n cells each of emf E and identical resistance r are grouped into sets of cells connected in series. The (n/K) are then connected in parallel to a load resisance R.Then find max. power delivered.
This will have k parallel circuits of cells...
The internal resistance will be K.r
and the EMF will be K.E
They will together have a resistance of R..
Is this hint sufficient?
You can do one thing eureka.. (try symmetry..)
equal current in each of the K wires.. and K.I in the main wire... (one with load R)
