A point charge q is placed at a corner of a cube. Find the flux passing through the cube ?
If you are through with the 1st part , try to find out the flux passing through the surface of the above cube which lies opposite to the point charge.

first part is q/8ε because the charge can be assumed to be at the centre of coordinates in 3d space and the cube as 1/8th of that
2nd part
total flux through faces opposite to point charge = q/8ε (because faces containing the charge have zero flux as angle between S and E is 90)
if one face then q/24ε
