Always use d formula notations here...it will be less confusing..

so....B=2C
and we need to prove b<2c

now apply sum formula of POT...u may get it

using sine rule
AC/sinB=AB/sinC
AC/sin2C=AB/sinC
AC/2sinCcosC=AB/sinC
AC=2cosC*AB
AC<2AB
proved
