while constructing a incentre of a triangle, angle bisectors are drawn and the intersection of any two angle bisectors is the incentre , hence the incentre lies on the angle bisector
Does the angle bisector of the BASE angle in an ISOSCELES triangle pass thru the IN-centre of the circle???

yes i think it does in any triangle
incenter is formed by the joining the bisector of the angles!
isnt it?
OH SORRY!!!! mdae a typo [a big one!!]
I WANTEDTO ASK WETHER THE ANGLE BISECTOR acts as the Altitude or NOT???
Yah for the vertex only I'm talking.......
BUT SIR, I used that concept to solve IIT - '06, Que. 2 Maths
then I got a contrasting answer differing by a factor of "2"
Y so ne idea???
BTW : sir aapke pass prev. years question hain?? else I'll uplod the img.
Ek aur Doubt :
Can v hav a local Maxima/minima at a point of Discontinuity???
for eg.
f(x) = e^x ........ for x<=1
f(x) = 2 - e^(x-1) ....... for x>=1
then can v hav local max. at x = 1?? [7]
Applyin sin60° = √3/2 I found dis. b/w Vertex n in-center and then added radius to get ALTITUDE.......
Found the base usin PYTHA.....
OH!!!! %#@&
Now I rem. i din double the half- base length..........
OH NO!!!!
yes we can have a local max or minima.. infact even a global maxima...
there is a limit case which is not in jee syllabus.. so i dont want to confuse you wall with it
