Another one of those old unanswered threads. Only, this one requires no answers [3]
The value of √a2+b2+c2 where c=ab and a and b are consecutive integers is always c+1 (TRY IT OUT).
This will be useful in vectors and 3-D to calculate the denominator in formula to find angle and to find easily unit vectors.
P.S : I learnt this at school.

Sorry machan. Only thing i knew that would be useful to you all is this one. I'll try to get more tips and tricks [4]
considering this is true
√a2+b2+c2 =ab+1
squaring and substituting c=ab
we get (a-b)2=1
so will it be true for only such values
so trick is not valued for all integer values
take a=2 b=4 c=8
√84(not)=8+1
trick not valued :P
Subash, thanx da..........forgot to include another condition, ppl........edited it........sorry for the inconvenience
