Lysosome

lysosomes create the enzymes to digest food in the cells. During starvation lysosomes continue to secrete the enzymes which destroys the other cell organelles which causes the cells to burst out. That is why lysosomes are known as the suicidal bags of the cell.

the main work of lysosomes is to digest or rather absorb the food within the cell in the cytoplasm.when the cells are almost worn out or injured or too old the lysosomes digests the cell wall(composition:-carbohydrate or cellulose )or digests the cell membrane made of protein (or lipid) thus, destroying the whole cell.this is the reason behind it.
