@rahul..exactly same here....people tell loads of crap abt practicing hard and hard but i still dont get any interest in organic chemistry....
still practice arihant organic as i try....only try.... :P
i m too weak at Chemistry...
actually something because of which i won't be selected in JEE is just this chemistry...
especially the organic part...
our chem. teacher was going good with chem but got transferred from our FIITJEE Delhi center..
and the teacher presently is just useless....
and one more problem is ... i missed out some important topics like
HYDROCARBONS in the previous phase...
and i don't know of a book which would help me clear my doubts in organic chemistry...
can 'only NCERT' be enough for JEE.. or some other book... which would work wonders...
example... "HC verma in physics" is enough for JEE....
so please if someone knows of such a book please suggest me...
trillions of thanks in advance...!!
and what how should i manage my previous left-out topics...!!

I think just try to grasp the concepts, or rather the mechanisms involved in hydrocarbons,,,,,u can do it from NCERT or solomon fryhle...
Then u need a lot of practise to master organic, a lot means really a lot.......
Practice may be done from GRB , or u can try Arihant.
(as Fiitjee recommends)
Arihant organic is not a suitable book for Jee at the 1st level... moreover some of the answers given at the back r incorrect. this creates a lot of confusion for beginners ..... so students lose interest in it.
If u don't get the concept of organic u can never be able to solve qs,,,, u will keep on trying and trying....:P
@Ketan, mujhe bhi kaha ata. nearly the same condition, i Keep trying ......lol..
is rc mukherjee and numerical chemistry by p bahadur sufficient for physical chemistry in jee???
both of them at the same time???
completing even 1 of them say P.Bahadur is a great deal.
dada.....p bahadur complete kar toh loh.....1300 page ka book hai.... :P
P.bahadur ko complete karne ke lye 2 years bhi kam par jayenge....lol....
are P. bahadur ka sirf physical chemistry hi more than 1000 pages ka hai...ab baki sab ka to baat hi choro
