Arre abhi read wat are the REACTANTS!!

I agree wid u dat it also forms frm hydrolysis of Na[B(OH)4],

BUT REACTANT BHI TO HAI

Na[Ba(OH)4] on hydrolysis gives B(OH)3..on addition of cis -1,2- diol it forms chelete compound...stability increases.. and hence increase in forward rxn

is n't B(OH)3 a product[7]

it forms on hydrolysis of Na[Ba(OH)4]

B(OH)3 reactant bhi to hai spidey

and u ur self said

--- if the reactant is more stable why will it change to product

1
greatvishal swami ·

nahi abhi yeh dheek nahi lag ra main bhi zaldibazi main kuch galat dekh gaya

i guess abhi is totally correct . and stab increase hogi tab hi to rexn forward ko favour karega ... i mean if the reactant is more stable why will it change to product? am i correct kya?

B(OH)3 is one of the products....

@vishal

i meant the stability of the compound increases on forming chelete....

But abhi.........

B(OH)3 is also one of the reactants so if u add diol n it forms chelate....

So if Concentration of reactant decreases then how can forward rxn be favoured??????????

abhi is almost rite but stability has no effect u rather say it will be removed and hence reacn will go forward
