What I use I'll tell you:

for theoritical hell, for practical most of the books are good......
@ SOURADEEP : PLZ DONT JOKE, YAAR!!!
@ VIVEK: THANX..
@ OTHERS: PLZ HELP.. I'M WATING...
Good Theory.. For Reference Purpose..!! You can keep it. That should be enough!
First do NCERT, use JD Lee for reference( an awesome book [1]). But if you have time then do inorganic from JD Lee only an solve the problems from arihant or OP tondon.
@ Vivek, yeh nayi nayi books kahan se doodhkar late ho , never heard about them.
yeah questions in N Avasthi and VK Jaiswal (Balaji Pubs) are good .. but I found physical chem questions a bit below standard especially in equilibrium .. but inorg ques (specially salt analysis) is awesome ..
but the book also requires some strong concepts before solving.. (which you can do from JD LEE selectively)
IS JUST NCERT BEST FOR AIEEE AND OTHER STATE LEVEL COMP EXMS?
well no need of JD LEE and all that straight awey....
firstly do NCERT and then u can refer arihant....
Well personally i like NCERT for Inorganic but i think sumthing extra should be known..so if u are really interested in inorganic then O P TANDON is a gud option..
wel for AIEEE NCERT is enough.. but practice questions from gud reference books as well..
