There is no need for u to read J,D. Lee completely for JEE..its not JEE orientated. but u must read some portions of it..(@eg.. the heteromolecular MOT structure)
Hey friends please tell me how JD Lee Concise Inorganic chemistry should be used for JEE preparation , I am asking this because this a very big book and require a lot of time , should I do the whole JEE Inorganic chemistry syllabus from this book or should I do some special topic from this book and rest of the syllabus from some other book.
Please tell your opinion and please suggest a book for Inorganic chemistry other than J D Lee.
P.S :I am in 11th class.

i think ncert is the best for inorganic chemistry for jee (for the theoretical part)
arihant inorganic chemistry should be practised thoroughly as it contains problems of all types (If I am wrong....then please suggest a good book....i am also in class 11 and i have currently bought these books for inorganic)
J.D.Lee is a book that has been written in a very simple lucid language.
Although most of it is not required (too detailed), I believe that every student must read at least the first 4 chapters to get an in-depth understanding of atomic structure & bonding.
Further, in class 12, one can read the transition elements & the p-block elements (if time permits).
