a question , really importent:
does the percentage ionic character of a compund lattice(or simple element lattice ) depend upon the lattice enthalpy value of that compund? if yes how?
i just mean that can we compare two compounds for their ionic character (saying one is more ionic than other) by comparing their lattice enthalpy values? is the reverse also true - does lattice enthalpy value of a substance depend upon ionic character?

yes,lattice can be a measure fr ionic character , more ionic the compound is ,more will be its lattice enthalpy. u see if a compound has less lattice energy then it has more covalent character or we can say that it is a covalent compound
