Q15. HI + F2 --> HF + I2
this is feasible because F is at the bottom of the electrochemical series implying that it will always exist in the form of F-
The Eo for the reaction F2 --> 2F - is highly negative implying that the reaction is spontaneous in the forward direction

8 ) i think A)
9) its also A.
10) Why can't NCl3 cannot be hydrolysed ?? i think on hydrolysis NCl3 gives ammonia and Cl2O.
11) in acidic medium , SO2 is readily attacked by H+ and is reduced to SO2+.
12) dude , i don't think AgNO3 is soluble in excess hypo.rather i hd read abt AgBr is soluble in hypo.
AgNO3 + S2O32- → Ag2S2O3 (white) → Ag2S (black)
AgBr + S2O32- → [ Ag ( S2O3 )2 ]3- (soluble complex )
13) der r two reasons :
a) M - F bond is always very strong , M being any element ( except Xe ).
b) F atom is too small to create any hindrance around the molecule.
14) ALLOTROPIC CHANGE TAKES PLACE FROM RHOMBIC TO MONOCLINIC Sulphur. monoclinic S is stable at relatively higher temperature.

9 ------- A
8 -------- P2H4
10--------NCl3 cannot be hydrolysed since it doesnt have d vacant orbitals...
n plz read NCERT u will get all dese answers......very basic questions boldly mentioned in NCERT for class 12 PART 1

@ 10 ) rohit , u forgot ' Cl ' hs d- orbitals , if not N. so,hydrolysis cn take place.

Hydrolysis of NCl3 gives NH3 and Cl2O
whereas PCl3 gives H3PO3 and HCl.
