1bhai, had there been ny hori force, it wud have gone out of its circular path...the horizontal force , TENSION is balanced by CENTRIPETAL FORCE

whenever there is a joint, there is a force in all three directions!!
Sometimes it is zero... othertimes it is non zero :)

see it seems that will be no force in the horizontal component..
but you should realise that any "joint" will give both horizontal and vertical force
if there will be no horizontal force how will boy move in circular path[3]
