A ball is thrown vertically upward from the 12 metre level with an initial velocity Of 18 metres / second. At the same instant an open platform elevator passes the 5 metre level, moving upward with a constant velocity of 2 metre / second.
Determine :-
A). When and where the ball will meet the elevator ,
B). the relative velocity of the ball with respect to the elevator when the ball hits the elevator.

Why you are not able to do this sum? For the given data the answer will not be in round figure and calculation will be complex. But its nothing like you can't do it.
