66plug in the wire!!
this is a question i found on a website
In the image shown here, the rod is coupled to the shaft of a low torque DC motor. Owing to the weight of the rod, the shaft tends to rotate and hence cannot hold the rod at a particular position. What is the simplest way to prevent this?

1yeah sir .. bt what if its torque even then is not sufficient to balance the rod ?
1and what would be the best possible "external mechanical assembly" that you would attach to the motor to solve the same problem
