The tension over there will supply the centripetal for the rest of the rod..
mass of rest of the rod = ml(l-x)
now the tension will be ml(l-x).w2 (l+x2)
(l+x)/2 is distance of the CM of the rest of the rod from the axis...
this term can be verified by integrating b/w limits x to l as well
