damped oscillations might be approximated by the equation below:
xt=Aoe-btcos(ωt+δ)
If we draw the graph:
thus, we can see that the graph is not that of a periodic function...thus damped oscillation, according to me cannot be classified as periodic motion!!

well from common experience u see frequeny of a damped oscillations changes...so since frequency changs evidently time period changes too...further we define a periodic motion to occur after "regular time intervals"...so putting it all up together we can say that its not periodic!
(an interesting degenrate part is that after a long time period is undefined(imagine a constant function [3])
