Two soap bubbles of radius R1 and R2 are joined by a straw.Air goes from one bubble to another and a singel bubble of radius R3 is formed.What is surface tension of soap solution if the atmospheric pressure is P0 ?

Let the surface tension be T (assumption R1>R2 so that air will flow into R1)
Then PR1 = Po+4T/R1
nR1 = (Po+4T/R1)*4Î R133RT

similarly nR2 = (Po+4T/R2)*4Î R233RT

Now nR3 = (Po+4T/R3)*4Î R333RT

nR3=nR2+nR1
