on slightly deflecting it by an angle of \theta the net torque about the C.O.m of the system = \frac{2mg.sin\theta.l }{\sqrt{2}} and as \theta is sufficiently small so sin\theta \approx \theta
and on equating this torque to I.\alpha we get \alpha = (\frac{3g}{l.\sqrt{2}}).\theta which is the equation of an SHM.
\Rightarrow \omega = \sqrt{\frac{3g}{\sqrt{2}.l}}
\Rightarrow \boxed{\textsl{f} = \frac{1}{2\Pi }.\sqrt{\frac{3g}{\sqrt{2}.l}}}.
