a) find the minimum time he will take for the completion of 50 m starting from rest .
b) suppose he takes exactly the minimum time to complete the 50 m what minimum time will he take to stop ?

Just take a hint for this. You have to take friction at max and calculate acceleration/retardation produced by it.
