Two blocks A and B of mass Ma and Mb are connected together by a spring and are resting on a horizontal frictionless table.Thr block are then pulled apart so as to stretch the spring and then released.Show that the kinetic energy of the blocks are ,at any instant inversely proportional to their masses.

force on both the blocks at any instance is equal...
so F=ma
m1a1=m2a2
integrate to get
m1v1=m2v2+c (but since they are initally at rest, c=0)
hence, v1/v2=m2/m1
now can you complete the rest? (It is just an iota distance from the full solution :)
