The tail of a comet is directed away from the sun bcoz:
(a) as the comet rotates around the sun the lighter mass of the comet is pushed away due to centrifugal force.
(b) AS the comet rotates the lighter mass of the comet is attracted by some star situated in the direction of the tail.
(c) Radiation emitted by the sun exerts a radiation pressure on the comet throwing its tail away from the sun
(d) The tail of the comet always exists in same orientation

i think its answer would be option "c" as other doesnot seems to explain those observation and centrifugal will try to make out of ellipse"its pathway" so thinking "c" wat is correct

yes option 1 cannot be as it has to throw out of path elliptical not alongthe path it travels so 3 is correct and i had also confirmed
