a satellite is revolving close to earth in a circular orbit with speed v=√gR where R is radius of esrth .wat wil hapen if its speed is increased from v to √1.5 v

integration , arihant mein likha hai ki agar satellite ki velocity orbital velocity se kam hai to bhi elliptical path hoga......... but wat is the reason
yeah it will follw elliptical orbit
if vel < orbital vel then it follws parabolic path n falls 2 d earth
if vel=orbital vel then moves in circular orbit
if vel>orbital <escape then it follws elliptical path
if vel>escape then it escapes frm d earth's influence

the satellite will goes to another orbit and i am not sure if it is n circular motion.

√1.5 v would mean velocity is greater than escape velocity so satellite will move out of earth' s gravitational field
