1yes, assertion is wrong, while reason is correct...
the correct assertion wud have been if it was talked of the gravitational field by the same body, but since it is the gravitational field of else body, so, no shielding effect applicable here...hence assertion is wrong...
i think its c option that assertion is wrong...
so, i will go for c
