When a bubble rises what happens to the Potential energy ?? I thought abt it in 2 ways & got 2 logical answers but only 1 is right..pls help

k then the question should be if an air bubble rises in a liquid what happens to potential energy

here as air bubble inc , effective height of water column comes down thereby dec in PE

dont we consider height of bubble above water base ??
