this is one of the classic first problems
Try this ..
Find the direction of the velocity at time t and time t+dt!
by pure geometry.
sir i cud get the result for t=0 but how to get it for t= T
I wud say that finding this value at time t is futile.
I know many people will not like it but this is not a jee problem.
IIT JEE will not give any problem anywhere close to this one.
The standard method however is to write it in terms of time t.
The trajectory is found out by writing down a differential equation.
There is an easy method to find the total time and total distance travelled and I wud say that you should restrict yourself to that much
There is a similar hare and hound problem..
I know that you can say that in the time you typed so much "gyan" you could have rather given the answer... but i really mean this...
