(I had a confusion...would it be 50√2km/hr north-west....or (C)...? )

1161Well, You have to keep somethings in mind. If any time you are trying to find out the change it MUST be FINAL-INITIAL.
In this question too, you have to subtract final velocity- initial velocity. After this its a vector subtraction question and i am sure you know addition and subtraction.
In this case C is the right option.
