now conserve energy ...
1/2 * 3 * 12 + 1/2 * 6 * 22 = 1/2 * 9 * 12 + 1/2 * k * x2
x2 = 18/k = 18/200 = 9/100
x = 3/10 m = 30 cm

i am rite too.. wat i wrote previously was value of x2 ... i thot u will find x urself .... now i have edited and wrote the value of x .. spoonfeeding u the final answer ..... :)
