A trolley of mass M placed on a smooth floor, carries two persons each of mass m at the edge.Given velocity of trolley after both men jump off the trolley simultaneously is Va and if they jump one after the other it is Vb(both jump with same horizontal vel. w.r.t. the trolley)Va/Vb=?
a)2(M+m)/(2M+3m)
b)(M+m)/(M+2m)
c)(M+m)/(2M+3m)
d)(M+2m)/(2M+3m)
shouldn't it be 1??
