A thin rod is held resting on the ground with its length inclined at an angle φ to the horizontal. The coefficient of friction between rod and ground is K.Show that when the rod is let go it will start slipping on the ground if k<( 3sin φ cos φ)/(1+3sin2φ)

Calculated w ?
You need to write all the forces acting on the rod when it is left, then find α (Angular Acceleration)/ From there put it in any of the equations obtained to find friction.
