Abhijeet, if the size of the object is small, then the center of mass won't be 2h/3. It will be 2R/3, won't it?[7]

see i just saw the question and posted the solution i thought was the simplest forgive me bcoz i don't think i can read through all those 7 pages
here is my soln.
let a1 be the acc. of earth (mass Me)
and a2 be the acc. of the mass 2Me
then using laws of gravitation and as h<<R
a1=2GMe/R2 (rem h<<R)
a2=GMe/R2
arelative=3GMe/R2
h=1/2arelativet2
now what is so complicated in this and btw where does C.O.M came in b/w
hope this explains it well
