1yes. The bomb will explode vertically below the plane. No doubt. This is because the horizontal component of the velocity of both the bomb and the plane experience no acceleration. So they will both be traveling in the same speed horizontally. So the bomb will always explode in the same line as the plane.
In both the cases. You could prove it mathematically as well. It is not very tough. But still this explanation is good enough.
